Shenandoah Caverns

On Labor Day we spent our day off at the Shenandoah Caverns.

It was a fun, beautiful drive out in the country.

 This is the original entrance. We all got to use the elevator that was built in the '30s.  That was interesting!

 Ever wonder what happens to some of those Rose Bowl parade floats?  Apparently a few end up at these caverns in a museum of sorts!  This train was ginormous!  

 There were actually a lot of cool ones.  They still had them hooked up so they would move.  Miles had a good time pushing all the buttons to turn them on.

 I think he's all practiced up and ready to be in a parade :)
